TOURNAMENT WINNER DECLARED: (if tournament gets rained out)
All Teams must have had to play 3 Seeded Pool or 2 Bracket Games
(if we start Bracket we will not go back to seeded Pool games to declare winner)
If three or more teams are tied with the same record in a division, head-to-head may or may not be used to break ties.
Once a level of tie-breaker is used, we DO NOT revert back to any steps of the tie-breaking procedure. We will continue on down the list until all ties are broken
.
1.Highest Winning Percentage (number of wins divided by number of games with a result (ties eliminated form formula))
2.Most Wins
3.Head-to-Head Games
4.Runs allowed per game avg
5.Runs differential (+/- of runs per game)
6.Coin Flip
If a team is playing an extra bracket game, the runs allowed and the Win/Loss in that game will not count towards your total. However, the result of the game (win/loss) will be used in head-to-head consideration if a tie in pool play occurs.
In case of a rain-shortened tournament, Bracket games can be deemed official after 2 ½ innings of play (with home team winning) or 45 minutes of elapsed game time. This policy will only be used through Bracket play. In addition, if games are cancelled due to weather, there may be an adjustment in application of the tie-breaking procedures.
If a team wins and does not want to advance in the Bracket the team they are supposed to play will be the only team that can advance from that point. The team that just lost may have the option to play the team advancing but can not advance from there no matter the out come of the game.
Forfeits or no shows During tournament
Team that forfeits any game during the tournament must pay all umpire fees for games not playing for both teams unless last game of day then must pay only their fee.
Final Placings
Once the event is completed, the usssa.com system must be manually configured to show the final placings and award the correct amount of corresponding points. Until this is done, the results may not show as final or be correct. We do this process for each event on Monday, which may take up through midnight on Monday to completely update and reflect accurate results.
