DFW Fastpitch is a group of Fastpitch enthusiasts that have been a Player, Parent, Coach, Tournament Director, National/Recreation Director for years in the DFW market. Our purpose is to promote the game of fastpitch softball by raising and maintaining a high level of awareness by posting information about local fastpitch activities while including regional and national stories of interest to the DFW Fastpitch community.
Additionally, we intend to employ our experience to aid the local Fastpitch community in an effort to raise the level of the game in DFW. Part of that effort will include running the highest quality tournaments and events.

Darren’s journey with DFW Fastpitch began when he started coaching his daughter’s recreation league team in 2005 and later travel ball from 2006 to 2014. In 2009, he became the Tournament Director for the North Richland League. From there Darren continued to grow the number of events he directed, and founded DFW Fastpitch in 2014 when he was appointed the USSSA State Director for Texas.
Tiffany AnsleyManaging Partner
A native of Miami FL, Tiffany played starting position all four years at Belhaven University; where she also earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and later a Masters in Sports Administration. Tiffany went on to be a collegiate coach for 6 years prior to joining DFW Fastpitch in 2016. Tiffany started off as the Director of Operations and is currently a Managing Partner of DFW Fastpitch.
Cali BurkeOperation Manager
Cali graduated from John Horn HS in Mesquite where she lettered in Swim and Softball. Went on to play for Northwestern State University and played all four years. She double Majored in Psychology and Addiction Studies. She also got her Masters in 2018 at Adler University in Counseling with a specialty in Sport and health psychology. Cali Passion is to promote the Game of softball by empowering female athletes to reach their potential on and off the field while providing a positive Sports experience.

Marissa is an experienced social media manager. Her skills and abilities are directed at areas such as, social media, marketing, and basic journalism. Her experience stems as a Public Relations Intern, PR Account Manager and Social Media Director. She is creative, strategic and goal orientated and does her best to apply that to all forms of content creation. Just a small part of the bigger picture.

Now with more than 5 years experience as a UIC, Oscar is also a Veteran Umpire with experience exceeding ten years. As a member of Impact Officials Association of Fort Worth, Texas, an organization leading in Girls Fastpitch Softball for 35+ years, Oscar, has been afforded the opportunity to travel all over the country delivering top-notch officiating. Don Watson has been a Fastpitch Umpire for 12 years throughout Texas and in 6 different states. He has been a Tournament director for 5 USSSA National Championship events and has need a UIC/TD for six years. He Has Established a well known Umpire Association in the DFW area called 1st Class Officials.

Amber MillerOn Site Tournament Directors/Umpires in Charge
Amber started playing softball when she was 4 years old. She played select softball throughout her childhood and into high school. In high school she started all 4 years on varsity at Arlington Lamar and then moved on to play college softball at the University of North Texas.
When Amber was 16, she started umpiring in North Richland Hills. She continued umpiring throughout high school and college. As of now Amber has 13 years experience of officiating with high school, JUCO, and NAIA games under her belt. Amber has been teaching and coaching for 6 years. Currently, she is the Head Boys Cross Country and Track distance coach for Arlington Martin High School.
